Feeling is healing. Allow yourself to feel your emotions. Don’t suppress them. Don’t pretend they’re not there. Just witness them, process them, and heal them.
And the most important thing to remember is that you have time. Time to discover new people and new projects and new places; time to heal from your past and your wounds. You might feel like you’re getting nothing done and nothing is happening, but you have time to discover your soul. It will happen for you <3
Dont forget to always forgive yourself at the end of the day. No matter how many mistakes you made, no matter how strict you were to yourself, no matter how angry you were at yourself or upset you were with yourself, at the end of the day, never forget to make peace with yourself. You can do something wrong, hold yourself acountable, and still be gentle with yourself.
You are not just good enough the way you are - you are also good enough the way you feel, the way you think, the way you speak, the way you love. Every part of you matters, darling. Always remember that.
Healing (being healed) doesn’t mean not being triggered anymore, deleting trauma from your life, no more falling into mind traps. It doesn’t mean you’ll be perfect once you’re done (there’s no such thing as “perfection”). You may still fall into old mental pattern occasionally, you may still have triggers here and there.
In fact, healing means recognizing and accepting your emotional reflexes and needs, so that you don’t have to let them take over cause you know you are the one in control. It means knowing you have other options to choose from when triggers hit you, that won’t have you ending up in a burnout, overthinking or feeling overwhelmed by everything. It means you know you can choose your thoughts and reactions freely, without having to depend on your traumatized mind and what it wants you to think/feel (even if to keep you safe).
Sometimes you don’t feel strong enough to face your problems. Some days the best you can do is exist. And that’s okay. It’s okay to just be for now.

Sometimes I forget that people can only meet you as far as they have met with themselves. If someone is being unkind, they struggle with being kind with themselves. If someone is being closed off, it is because they are having trouble connecting with themselves. Being aware of this reminds me to be patient with myself and others. In order to nurture others in a healthy manner, we must first be able to do that for ourselves.
